What is the advantage of booking treatments and medical exams through Aneue vs booking on my own? 

In Seoul, there are tens of THOUSANDS of dermatology and plastic surgery clinics, so it is not surprising that Seoul is called the beauty capital of the world. It is simply overwhelming to filter and research the clinics and doctors that are reputable and right for your needs, but luckily we have done the tough work for you! Over many years, we have personally visited and received treatments from dozens of highly rated and recommended clinics. Of these, we have whittled the list to a targeted few exceptional doctors with whom we maintain trusted, long term relationships.

We can personally attest to the integrity and expertise of the doctors and clinics we partner with, and we definitely do not recommend clinics or treatments that we ourselves have not experienced. We can speak directly to any questions you may have regarding the treatment, the doctor, and the overall experience.

We have also negotiated priority booking for our clients, and can usually obtain even last minute appts through our personal liason at these clinics. Our clients receive discounts and favorable prices that have been pre-negotiated by us, so you have full transparency and never have to worry about being upcharged. If there is any question regarding a clinic’s quoted price, we are happy to verify and explain any questions you may have prior to payment. *If you have not traveled to Korea before, many clinics are not transparent with their pricing, and in some cases, quote higher prices to foreigners vs Korean citizens.*

Lastly, we do not accept commission or compensation of any kind from these medical institutions, so there is no incentive to refer you to our partner clinics, except for the sole reason being the doctors are truly experts in their field of expertise. You can rest assured knowing that your personalized itinerary is maximized for results and enjoyment so you can sit back for an experience of a lifetime!

How are the partners and clinics vetted?

As mentioned above, we have long term relationships with the doctors at the clinics we refer clients to, and therefore you can feel at peace knowing that you are in good hands.  They are trusted by our team, and have been selected due to their renowned expertise in their craft, kind bedside manner, and trustworthy team and practice.

You will always have a consultation with the head doctor prior to your treatments to determine the most appropriate treatments for you, and he/she will then be the one providing the actual treatments. Treatments in Korea are typically performed by the doctors themselves, rather than their nurses.

What is the cost of your concierge services?

We offer three tiers of service – Gold, Silver, and Bronze, depending upon how many categories of services (Skincare, Medical Exam, and Other Beauty Services) you wish to experience with us.  All the packages start at $500 and include a 1-2 hour in depth consultation to map out your treatments and experiences for the trip.  We will also schedule these appointments for you and present you with a final itinerary that is personalized to your desires and goals. 

The Bronze package includes one category of service, Silver includes two categories, and Gold includes a full service package and itinerary across all three categories.    

Is it possible to make changes to my selected treatment after booking the skincare appointment?

The treatment that you receive can definitely differ from the treatment that we initially book for you. You will always start the appointments with a consultation to evaluate your skin and discuss your goals. You will then have an opportunity to meet with the doctor and ask any questions you may have prior to committing and paying for any treatment. The treatment plan is always customized to each client’s specific skin and body needs so the final plan will be a collaborative decision by the doctor and client.

Do you provide translation services?

Given most of our clients speak English, we are happy to provide translation services at our partners where English is not prevalent. A few of our doctors do speak fluent English, and we will advise based on your appointments, whether or not you will need translation services.

Do you book flights and hotels for clients? 

Based on your intended itinerary during your stay, we can definitely offer personalized recommendations on hotels, excursions, and airport transportation services to and from your hotel, but we do not make individual flight or hotel arrangements for our clients.

How far in advance do I need to book with you?

We understand clients sometimes have varying visibility into their travel schedules. While we would ideally like to plan your itineraries a couple months in advance, we are able to accommodate last minute appointments as well due to our relationships with our partner clinics and doctors. Medical exams can have longer wait times up to 6 months, but because we work with a hospital network, usually at least one of the locations is able to accommodate our client requests.
